The CTX Portable MDB Tester/Simulator is the ultimate tool for any vending machine technician on the field or in shop. The CTX enables you to test MDB coin changers, MDB bill acceptors and most of the MDB cashless systems on the market. Equipped with a large format 4X20 LCD display and a 9-key membrane type keypad, the CTX offers you unique features. The CTX also works both ways. It can simulate a vending machine or it can simulate the peripherals enabling you to test a machine functionality without peripherals. The technician have the choice of powering up the CTX either independently with its own power supply or through any VMC MDB port.

Just like its big brother the CT3, the smaller CTX has the same SSPS protection against short circuits offering added security to both the machine and the peripherals.  The easy-care membrane and the ABS plastic housing assure lightweight and durability.  Among the many features are a  tuning mode, a dual simulator mode, a manual mode, an MDB level menu, a choice of two cashless addresses, a printer port for test reports, an upload port enabling firmware flash update, and finally a nice and lightweight carrying case. Just like the bench-only CT3, the portable CTX also offers three programmable selections allowing simulation of a vending machine.
